What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a painting by Ignace SPIRIDON (act.1869-1900) who is well known for his rococo revival period paintings. Depicted is a young man and two young ladies, dressed in the late rococo fashion, admiring a book. The artist uses this setting to display his masterful ability to paint the various silk and velvet fabrics in an interior. The painting is signed and dated lower right. The good provenance and the fact that the painting is fresh to the market will add to the value. The estimate is based on recent auction results.
