This is a framed painting on silk that was purchased in New Delhi in an art store at the Red Fort called Virender in the late 1970s. It is framed and measures 35 inches wide and 44 inches high.
This piece may have been painted in the mid-1970s.

The presented object appears to be an ink painting on silk or fabric with the measurements of 44 x 35 inches. The artwork depicts a hunting scene with a shoot with horses and elephants hunting deer and tigers. This is a typical motif for North Indian art which was influenced by the Mogul Empire. This piece was made in the middle or second half of the 20th century by an unknown artist.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
