I purchased this traditional jacket in Portland Ore. in 1981. My understanding is that it is an antique--very old. It is well preserved, shows hand stitching and has cream coloured reinforced portion on inside in shoulder area. In the photos the jacket appears to be black but it is really very deep indigo. I believe the fabric is cotton.

27 inches long x 24 inches wide, sleeves are 12 and 3/4 long.
