Oushak rugs originated in Western Turkey, and Eastern Iran and are known for their distinct features, such as an angular large-scale floral design in earth tone colors set on an ivory background. Your rug dates from the early to mid 20th century and is in good condition. It has been woven in the Persian knot style with 150- 250 knots per inch. Based on recent price realizations, a fair market estimate for your rug would be between 500 and 1000 US dollars.
