A little bit bigger than 3" the metal material I'm not sure, is dark .
Mostly all of my Pins / brooches I got them on line or Garage Sales .
Dear Christian,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. So that I may best assist you, can you please upload a few better images of the entire brooch?
Thanks
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a beautiful brooch. Such vintage pins and brooches are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
My guess is that it is made of silver and decorated with cut glass stones to resemble diamonds. The decoration and design was typical of the early 1900s when I believe that this pin was made. It is very decorative but due to the choice of materials it lies in the lower price range. However this does not affect the fact that it is a charming and decorative pin.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the pin has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the charming pin. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
Thank you
