This appears to be a terracotta fragment of a vessel, most likely Sasanian art or Sassanid art, pre-islamic, most likely dating to the 5th - 7th century. It is a very decorative fragment, showing the stag in flight among stylized foliage. The debates on cultural protection of antiquities has led to a highly sensitive market, anything without proof of purchase has a decorative value only.
