Italian Marble top, wood base unsure of the rest. Made in Catco on the bottom of the marble. Very heavy. Height - approx 14 inches and approx 56 inches wide.
Bought it Paris, shipped to America given to me from step mother.
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be an italian oval coffee table with marble top, supported by neo-classical style Caryatids on a wooden base. The caryatid statues were cast from identical molds and are most likely hollow to conceal the steel construction which holds the marble top in place. Production date should be 1960s or later. Italian marble furniture is expensive when bought, but auction results are very much different due to the shipping costs involved. The estimate is based on auction results. "Asking prices" in the trade can be much higher and vary.
If you can find a buyer locally the high estimate would be appropriate.
What's the value if we weren't talking shipping?
