Description

My dad has an ivory collection. He was in the military, in WWII, traveled the world and was in Southeast Asia a lot. I couldn’t find any paperwork for these sculptures, unfortunately. To me they look like ivory but I’m not an expert lol.

Provenance

These were my dad’s. He got them in somewhere Southeast Asia while he was in the military.

What does this mean?

Dear Jessica,

I'm sorry to inform you that these items are not made of ivory but made of concrete and plastic.
The yellow statues are made of plastic ( Polystone ) and the three white statues are made of concrete or chalk. They have only decorative value. If you stick a hot needle in one of the yellow statues you probably will smell a chemical substance. Ivory has the smell of burning hair..My estimation is for all the statues I see on the pictures.

Do you have a similar item and want to know how much it’s worth?

Communicate directly with a qualified specialist and get a fair market valuation of your item, typically in 48 hours or less.
