It is hand painted, very likely on old wood, manufactured in Asia purely for decorative purposes. Depicted is the famous boxer Jack Johnson "Pugilist", below inscribed "Born 1878 Galveston". Such "trade sign" reproductions are around since the 1970s. The estimate is based on similar items offered or sold at auction.
