Oil on canvass Painting "The trubador auditions" signed
We bought this painting at an estate sale - and observed the signature on the painting and began looking for information.

The presented object appears to be a lithograph in colors on cardboard with unknwon measurements. This print was made after the a painting by with the title "The Trubador Auditions" by the German artist Jakob Emanuel GAISSER (1825-1899). This artist mainly depicts scenes according the historism with scenes from the 15th to 17th century depicted in histrocially correct costumes. Such prints were made since the late 19th century and especially in the early 20th century. This scene plays in the first half of the 17th century.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 40 to 80 USD.
