What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a 20th century japanese Butsudan altar, lacquered and gilt. Despite the spectacular splendor prices are quite modest. Similar japanese altars sell in the price range listed if offered in well advertised auctions. The two japanese ivory carvings currently have no market value due to stricter enforcement of environmental regulations. This might change in the future.
