What does this mean?

Dear Kathy,

You have a modern Japanese vase. Its pottery made in a mould. The vase is hand painted and that is nicely done. Mark does not, other then Japan, have special meaning. Contemporary Japanese traditional painted pottery does not have special value these days. If you would sell this in a salesroom I would you expect to fetch a price around the estimate.
