Japanese Scrolls

Description

I purchased this pair of Japanese scrolls nearly a decade or so ago. The signature and seal is allegedly that of Kawabata Gyokusho (1842-1914), Chojisei. I’m unsure whether the ends are made of Edo Zoge/ ivory but it does look like it. There are stains on the silk painting (see pictures) and also sun marks on the paper from obvious wear and tear. I did have them on display for a few years however the past 8 or so they have been kept in their storage box hidden away.
