Description

SPECULATION: Imari? vase converted to a lamp in the late 19th/early 20th century. Brass flared rim with dual bulb sockets, mounted on carved reticular wood and measuring 28.5” high. Porcelain is glazed and hand-painted in whites, reds, oranges, cobalt blue and gold accents. Floral, leaf and feather motifs, as well as every-day life scenes. Gorgeous lamp in working condition with minor wear to the gilding.
