Decorated overall with scrolling foliage and stylised leaves, the domed cornice and glazed door flanked by columns and enclosing a circular dial with roman numerals and arabic chapters and a circular plate inscribed 'Joseph Davis London', within foliate spandrels centred by masks above a door with raised japanning depicting a warrior on horseback and a central glazed panel enclosing pendulum weights and winder above a moulded plinth base with central raised landscape scene, the japanning distressed in some areas
