However, the trademark rights and production were subsequently acquired by the Manufaktur Rödental company, ensuring that new Hummel figurines continue to be made to this day.

Gerhard Skrobek designed the “Joyful Adventure” Hummel figurine as a sample in 1963; the title was changed to "Gay Adventure" at one point before it was withdrawn from production in 2002.

Most Hummel figures on the market average less than 6 inches in size and were made in the 1970s-90s; most are quite modestly valued but ones that were made earlier than that and/or are of unusually large size can bring higher prices.

While Luckey's 12th Edition of Hummel Figurines & Plates Identification and Price Guide (2003) lists the then-current value of this TMK-4 figurine at $1,000-1,500, these have not fetched anywhere near those values recently at auction; I would be very surprised to see one sell for more than $150 today.
