Hi Kim,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
K&A Krautheim Selb Bavaria was a renowned German porcelain manufacturer based in Selb, Bavaria. Established in 1884 by Christoph Krautheim, the company initially focused on decorating blank porcelain. In 1889, Christoph's brother-in-law, Richard Adelberg, joined the business, leading to the formation of Krautheim & Adelberg. By 1912, they began producing their own porcelain, expanding their operations significantly. The company gained prominence and became a supplier to the Royal Bavarian Court. After Christoph Krautheim's death in 1933, his son Richard took over the company. The business continued under the leadership of Georg Krautheim until it was closed in 1977.
Krautheim & Adelberg was known for producing high-quality porcelain dinnerware, vases, and decorative items. Their products often featured intricate floral patterns, gilded accents, and fine craftsmanship, reflecting the opulence of early 20th-century European porcelain design.
I'm not finding the name of this particular pattern but most K&A Krautheim tea cups and saucers sell at auction these days for fairly nominal prices - usually $5-7 per cup & saucer set. Because you have a large and uniform number of pieces, I've rounded up a bit.
