The cameo has a three-dimensional female face in profile which is mainly in white color with orange-brown shades. The type of gem seems a cornaiola shell. The gold frame has delicate flower decoration. Observing the brooch's characteristics, it seems handmade and antique. It is probable that the object dates back to the early 1900.
