Kidney shape desk
Kidney shape black desk. Made of wood. Has 9 drawers. Painting on wood, red, gold. Covered with kidney shape glass. The size (approximately, because I have it in another home) is 40" x 18" x 32".
It came after the resident in nursing home who died. I took care of her. Her family gave it to me.

Thank you for your request. The presented object is a desk in the so-called Chinoiserie style. The desk has a kidney-shaped plate and five drawers. The surface is lacquered and decorated with floral ornaments in golden color. The Chinoiserie style imitates Chinese decors and style in European furniture of the 18th century. This table was made in the middle of the 20th century in the US.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 250 to 500 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
