What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be an indian dagger similar to talwar or tulwar sword, northern India, Hindustan, with damascene / damascus curved pointed blade, persian islamic inscription, bone inlaid hilt, scabbard silver inlaid all over, manufactured in the 20th century. The estimate is based on similar items sold at auction. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the item.
