What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a late 19th century Knights of Pythias ceremonial sword manufactured by "Pettibone Mfg. Cincinnati", with a figural cast spelter pommel and guard, wiring of the grip is missing, the spelter is corroded, the blade is rusty and lost the plating and gilding, the sheath is missing. A similar sword in very good condition, no parts missing, recently sold for modest 50 USD at auction. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the item.
