Dear Christopher,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay of the apprisal.

The presented object appears to be a fraternal sword of the Knight of St. Patrick. This piece is not marked by the producer and was made in the late 19th century in the United States. The brass scabbard is engraved with symbols and the iconography of the Knights of St. Patrick. As a comparable, I attach a link to a very similar piece here (https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/79857301_fraternal-sword).
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 100 to 300 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,
Georg
