Hello Drake,
Thank you for your appraisal inquiry with Mearto. I apologize for the delay in your appraisal and thank you very much for your patience. The item presented appears to be color woodblock originally by Utagawa Hiroshige I [歌川 広重] (Japanese, 1797–1858) born Andō Hiroshige [安藤 広重] titled "The Pine Groves at Mio in Suruga Province" (Suruga mio no matsubara). The print is plate 12 from the series titled "Pictures of Famous Places in the Sixty-odd Provinces" (Rokujūyoshū meisho zue; 六十余州名所図会), published by Koshimuraya Heisuke (Koshihei) during 1856-1858.
Based on the information provided, this print is a reproduction after the original edition. The original print was a vertical ōban size (15" x 10"). This print was likely published in the early 20th century as these prints saw a resurgence during that time. The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of this work and other comparable reproduction woodblocks after Hiroshige from the same series. Please note asking or dealer prices may vary. Thank you and please take care.
