What does this mean?

This is a hand-painted famille noir vase from China. The artist has depicted two pheasants perched on a cherry blossom tree branch. Peonies and other flowers are painted over a stylized rock formation at the bottom. These subjects are all common in Chinese art. The band around the neck of the vase and the leaf pattern band at the base contrast with the overall color scheme. The style suggests that it was made in the 20th century, possibly the 60s or 70s.
The lamp’s brass base and top fitting were probably added later.

Based on sales of similar items, this lamp’s Fair Market Value is between $80 and $120.
