What an unusual piece; I'm not familiar with the artist or their work; I presume the glaze treatment is intentional and not burnt.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

unattributed maker, probably American, second half 20th Century
Of asymmetrical form, with crackled glaze overall, marked underneath A.G. / V.13 / 1/20.
17 1/2 inches high, 12 inches wide
CONDITION: Not examined in person but appears to be in good condition with
