From image inspection the crystal cluster is a clean scepter quartz group with superlative luster and a light, smoky, coloration noted in several crystals. The cluster has numerous internal negative crystal inclusions. As respected by the current owner; this mineral has a long healing history in meaning and lore of many different cultures. The stone presents grounding, resilience, and forgiveness. This would be an excellent example for a healing practitioner or lapidary interested in metaphysical earth relationships. Freestanding specimen. Overall measurement: 12 inches x 7 inches x 7 inches; with several promontories are 2.5 inches to 3 inches. Unknown weight.
Quartz specimens have a large variance in auction sales achieved. Similar quality and size of smokey quartz can range from hundreds to tens of thousands of dollars.
