Dear Elton,
Thank you for your request. Please add detail images of the underside of the plate and the connection of the legs to the plate and the shroud.
With kind regards,
Georg
Dear Elton,
Thank you for the additional images and your patience. The presented object is a burau plat or writing table with the measrutemts of 33 x 80 x 42 inches. The table show the stylistif features of the middle of the 18th century furniture in Northern Italy. The technical details of the consructions and traces of mechanical driven saws are a hint that this table was restored heavily in the 20th century. During this overworking probably the glass plate on top was added. The older parts, the legs and the shroud, were probably made in the second half of the 19th century.
An estimation would be between 800 to 1600 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
