What does this mean?

Dear Feike,

Thank you for your request. Can you please name the exact number of the photos? How are the photos attached to the paper?

With best regards,
Georg

Hi Georg,
There are 26 photographs in a variety of sizes.
The photographs are glued on the paper in the book.

Hello?????

Dear Feike,

Thank you for the additional information and your patience. Sadly regarding technical problems, the new images and messages were not displayed. I apologize for the delay. The presented object is a photo album or a so-called scrapbook with a collection of photographs depicting London. The photographies are fixed on the sheets and the cover names the date of the stay in London from the 31 Juli to the 14th of August in the year 1898. The book has 25 black and white images and one colored photo probably depicting the coast of Wales or South England. The question if these images were made by the former owner of this scrapbook or bought during the voyage to England cannot be answered totally. Many photos have a description of how it was common with bought photos which were offered by photo studios.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An base auction estimation would be between 150 to 300 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.

With best regards,
Georg
