Vintage white taffeta and lace wedding dress, size M-L, circa 1980s
first wedding dress of late wife, been preserved in garment bag since she removed it on wedding night. Unsure of who made it for her or how much was paid but its gorgeous with the train. Included pics of her wearing, unsure of age of dress also, mid 80s I beleive.

The wedding dress market is somewhat unique in the vintage clothing category because fashions and trends change quickly and most brides don't want to wear someone else's wedding dress. Unless they were recently made by a well-known bridal couturier, and in a small size, most vintage wedding dresses sell below $100 at auction.
Without more specific information as to who the maker of this dress was, or even its size, this has a value of $50-75.
Local high school or community theater costume departments are often looking for donated wedding dresses, as are local programs that supports women in crisis who are always looking for donated articles of clothing of any kind.
