Blue enamel with diamond fleur-de-lys bordered with pearls. Case #50236
inherited
This is an antique circa 1900 LeCoultre fob or pocketwatch in a yellow gold (should be tested for karat) and enameled face with small cut diamond set and gold back fleur-de-lis adorned with genuine seed pearls around the rim that is hung from an gold filled, fleur-de-lis form pin back brooch. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
In addition to an image of the open backside to show the works, does this have any stamps indicating a karat for the gold tone metal?
I am unable to access the watch at this time. I have included the old appraisal which I hope will help. Also, what kind of valuation are you giving me? Estate or Insurance?
Okay, thank you. I was wondering if you are compliant with the Appraisal Foundation, ie. Curious if you keep a working file on this report? or any comparables you can share?
Yes, I am USPAP compliant through 2019 and a member of the ISA.
Please open the backside of the watch and add a photo of the works.
