51"Tall, 17" base La Baigneuse style Hand Carve White Marble Statue
The statue was in a collection of Yard art purchased by local antique shop from a gentleman who had passed away.
Dear Tom,
Thank you for the additional detailed images and information.
The presented object appears to be a marble sculpture with the measurements of 51 inches. This sculpture depicts a bathing woman and this icongraphy is connected with the depiction of the goodness Venus or Nymphs. This classic antiquity theme was repeated in paintings and scupture especially in the 17th and 18th century. Many examples were made by France artist like Étienne-Maurice Falconet and this explains the title "La Bagineuse". This sculpture was probably made in the second half of the 20th century.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 2.000 to 4.000 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
Georg

I also updated the height, she is 51" Tall
There is no signature and I know little about her. The statue was bought at an estate auction by a local shop and not much is known. I will take some more detailed pictures and send them this weekend when I am home during the day.
