What does this mean?

Dear Sandra,

Thanks for contacting Mearto and thanks for your trust in us. Your fishbowl is made in China in second half 20th century, around 1960 I believe. Mark say's "Daqing Qianlong Nianzhi" . Qianlong period was 1735 until 1796. Many markings on Chinese porcelain are a tribute to an older emperor and do not say much about the period a piece is made. Also in this case I can see the way the painting is done and the colors used that this is an 20th century piece. This type of porcelain is called Cantonese porcelain. Canton or Cantonese porcelain is the characteristic style of ceramic ware decorated in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong, China. The style is very popular and well known and is made in the same fashion for say 150 years. Subtile chances in colors and pattern show the age of the piece. Fishbowls are very sought after and you have a big and nice painted piece. A collector would not buy this easily because of it being quite modern but I know that there is also a market for its decorative value. My estimation is based on that.
