Good morning, Elaine,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. This could be a bit earlier than 1900 but I've put late 19th/early 20th Century to cover all the bases since I can't examine this in person.
Based on the photographs and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A Classical style mahogany one-drawer library table
American or English, late 19th/early 20th Century
The rectangular rounded edged top over a frame fitted with a single short drawer over flaring cylindrical legs with applied stop-fluting, joined by a flat stretcher on short scrolled feet.
29 inches tall by 37 inches wide by 25 1/2 inches deep
PROVENANCE: purchased by sister-in-law about 10 years ago
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with wear commensurate to age and use.
$200-300*
