I have a old rocking chair with lions head, its been in the family since the 1950s, not sure on the wood, but it has markings, slash markings under neath.
Size is 25.5" wide, 32" deep and 37" tall. Seat is 20" deep and 15" high.

circa 1940s-50s
The shaped relief-carved crest-form back flanked by stiles topped with carved lions, over downcurving arms, over a shaped saddle, raised on shaped legs on rockers. Presumably unmarked.
Overall height: 37 inches; seat height: 15 inches; width: 25-1/2 inches; depth: 32 inches
CONDITION: This appears to be in good condition
