This is a vintage, early 20th century, about 1920 - 1930s linen press dresser with cupboard style double door front and with 4 pull-out sliding interior drawers under a top drawer. This would be used for storing dining linens such as tablecloths. The front is veneered, which is evidenced by the surface peeling seen in the image. This damage is due to temperature extremes and exposure to dampness. Peeling veneer does not take well to refinishing nor is repairing/replacing the veneer cost efficient.
