A set of three round brass nesting tables with original glass tops, inherited and uncertain but believed to date from the mid-20th century (circa 1950s–70s). Each table features brass coating, legs with cross-stretchers and natural patina consistent with age. The brass is warm in colour. No modern screws are visible; construction and weight suggest high-quality French decorative-arts manufacture. The bottom legs screen off and underneath is a steel rod inside. It come off into two peices each leg, No visible maker’s stamp, but style and craftsmanship are similar to known Maison Jansen designs. All pieces are structurally sound and in good vintage condition with light, age-appropriate wear.

Hi Brooke,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Maison Jansen was a renowned Parisian interior design firm established in 1880 by Dutch-born Jean-Henri Jansen. Recognized as the first truly global design house, it catered to an elite clientele across Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. The firm was known for its opulent and grand designs, featuring luxurious materials such as marble, gilt, and exotic woods. They created custom furniture pieces and accessories, including chandeliers, mirrors, and fireplace surrounds, to complete their overall design schemes.
