SHE WAS MALVINA HOFFMAN'S NIECE AND THESE PIECES WERE GIVEN TO MALVINA WHEN SHE WAS STUDYING WITH RODIN IN EUROPE 1910. tHEY WERE GIVEN TO ME BY MIMI WHO HAS SINCE PASSED.

Thank you for the additional information and your patience. The presented object is a small sized patinated bronze with the measurements of 2 3/4 x 3 inches. It depicts a standing elephant and is monogrammed "M.H.". This monogram can be compared to other monogrammed bronzes of Malvina Cornell HOFFMAN (1887-1966) and can so be identified as the maker of this bronze.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 500 to 1000 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
