Large sculpture of naked lady, holding grapes above head and cloth draped around her waist.
1.92m high, 500mm diameter base

Dear Claire,
Thank you for your help and patience.
The presented object appears to be a marble sculpture with a height of 1.92 m. The statue depicts a nude woman with water under her holding grapes. This is an interpretation of the motif of the nymph. This statue was made in China in the last third of the 20th century or later. The facial features especially the smile is very comparable to Chinese artworks and also the interpretation of the waves. Nevertheless, this is a very decorative garden sculpture that would find its buyers in an auction.
Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 2.500 to 5.000 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
George
