This is a vintage, 20th century, Mid Century Modern style, Danish-inspired, brass and teak wood tension lamp with 3 up-light shades. A tension lamp is one that extends from the floor to ceiling with a tension rod atop that adjusts to the height of the ceiling. This was a popular design trend for lamps during the 3rd quarter of the 20th century. Without a maker mark, label or tag, the manufacturer cannot be definitively stated. Although this is 'Danish-inspired' it was likely manufactured in the U.S.The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
I cant find any tags or markings, I now it real brass and not plated.
Where would the marking normally be?
That would vary by maker. It could have been a label or paper tag that has been removed. Perhaps stamped on the underside, on a light switch of the bulb holders.
