White stone head of david with unknown base (very heavy) was appraised 32 years ago here in Montreal for 2000$ in those days there seem to be a signature but I can not make it out in stone2 letters wid is 15 9 12 head inches base is 5.x5
got it from 32 years ago a city of Montreal high end auction paid 750 in the days

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a cast powdered stone and resin head of David, produced either in Italy or Asia. Such items were produced in huge numbers purely for home decor. To add some weight the forgers usually added marble powder to the mixture. The mold mark at the shoulder is easy to spot. If touched the sculpture should feel warm, quite in contrast to cold stone.
The estimate is based on actual auction results of similar items sold in well advertised auctions.
