This is an original mixed media work of art by Italian artist Mimmo (Domenico) Paladino (born 1948). Paladino was a member of an art movement called "transavanguardia" which was a type of revival of Expressionism. The mixed media includes a hand made copper frame, gold leaf background and a black silhouette figure with symbols. He was a prolific artist and his works are heavily sold at auction. The estimate is based on actual current past auction sales of comparables of similar size, subject and material.
