The Walt Disney Classics Collection (WDCC) is one of the most beloved and collectible lines of Disney sculptures. Created through a partnership between Disney and Enesco, the line was introduced in 1992 and production continued until 2012. It was the first line of Disney figurines made with direct involvement from Disney animators, giving the pieces unusual accuracy and charm.
According to collector platforms, WDCC "Minnie Mouse 'The Little Whirlwind (For My Sweetie)”was designed by Bruce Lau. It was retired in 2001 and originally retailed for $95, which is a modest value as some of the other WDCC figures were priced higher.
Even with a certificate of authenticity and the original box and factory packaging, this has not increased in value. While some EBay sellers may price this higher, when sold at auction, this rarely brings more than $60-90 and sometimes much less.
