This piece is a combo piece MIRROR & DRESSER It's part of a bedroom set, that's thought to be 1 of a 4pc set, the dresser pictured has wavy drawers not flat like modern day, no real markings anywhere we think its 1900-1960ish possibly later. All pieces in the set are in mint condition,no scratches,no refurbishing ; just as it looked at time of purchase,....We would like to know its history, who made it,when, what was the approx. price tag, what is it worth today, what it should go for at auction and private buyer, also what it should be insured at. We have the full set all the pieces in mint condition; So in this set there is : head board for Queen size bed, side table, standing 4 drawer dresser{ same wavy drawers in it }, and the pictured piece / 6 drawer dresser and mirror{ has wavy drawers } I say wavy as in natural design NOT damaged.
Donaldsonville Louisiana, 70346. GREAT Aunt Ester Landry, passed away at 92yrs old , she was born in 4-30-26 ; passed 11-23-18/// willed everything to my mother whom has been bombarded with people trying to by a piece here and there but not as a set,and at liquidated prices; my mother is unaware of the possible value of the set, and we dont want her to be taken advantage of; she definately wants to sell; we just want to make sure she doesnt get ripped off,we searched the net to the best of our ability and looked at previous appraisels from Antique Roadshow and we've found nothing like it ,similar but not the same.
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a bedroom set consisting of a dresser with mirror and a tall dresser or men´s dresser, both decorated with brass pulls in the rococo style. The varnish is spray painted, varying from light to darker brown towards the edges. Production date is most likely 1910s-1920s. Several larger manufacturers produced similar. The estimate is based on actual auction results. There is non measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the furniture.
