Hard cardboard pull-out booklet. Opens up to 9, 3x5 pages. On one side, each page is a different piece of information. From the grand opening and gallery to about Red Skelton and his paintings. On the opposite side, each page is a different painting of clowns. This booklet was strictly for his Grand Hollywood Opening and 78th birthday celebration in Beverly Hills, Ca. on July 19, 1991
I was working security for Red Skelton that evening. After the event, I walked him and his wife to their limo. At that point, he signed the booklet for me.
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a small booklet with illustrations after Red Skelton paintings, drawings and memorabilia, signed on the cover "Red Skelton". Fame is a currency with a short lifespan. Similar authographs are a common sight at auctions currently, and very few are being sold. The estimate is based on the few auction results of rare autographed photos which actually sold. I assume the sentimental value for you will be much higher.
