This moon flask has all the characteristics (except a mark) of the moon flasks made by the Zsolnay Porcelain Manufacture in Pécs, Hungary. Zsolnay, established in 1853 by Miklós Zsolnay, became famous for its high-quality ceramics, art nouveau designs, and unique finishes, including the signature eosin glaze. These flasks were decorative and functional, symbolizing Hungarian artistry and heritage. Zsolnay's unique techniques, like the eosin glaze, contributed significantly to the Art Nouveau movement in Europe.
