Fra' Filippo Lippi (c. 1406 – 1469), also called Lippo Lippi, was an Italian painter of the Quattrocento, he was an important early renaissance artist in Florence, Italy. His paintings were widely published and the artist who made this copy might have worked from a postcard. The modern baroque frame is decorated with accanthus leaves and of good quality. The estimate is based on similar home decor paintings offered or sold.
