I have a vase signed "Barovier+Toso Murano". The stick says 230965. It is little more than 20cm high and about 18cm wide. The glass have different shades of green with bubbles. Might be from the series Efesos?

Hello Kristin,
I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal,
Considering the photographs, overall pattern, glass quality and the colours, I concluded that this is an Entirely Hand Blown Murano Glass Vase from the brand Barovier-Toso. The piece dates back to the period from 1955 to 1970. The piece is very similar in appearance with the pieces designed by the famous designer Ercole Brovier in the mid-century. Ercole Barovier designed a series of vases and pieces called Efeso with Mosaique surfaces and amorphic contents in decoration. Some of the pieces from the Efeso series is very similar to this piece, the Barovier-Toso Acid mark underneath the piece also confirms it's originality as well as the high level of work execution on the piece. The piece also has a serial number underneath it, at the base. To confirm that this is an original piece from the Efeso series, you might contact with the company which is still active today. The piece is certainly either an Efeso Series pieces or a piece that was heavily influenced by the mid-century series. The font of the writing as well as the acid marks also suggest the 1960's as the origin period of the piece. The piece is composed of "Khaki", water green, saffron and dark turquoise. The piece is in good condition without any visible problems.
