Hi Kayla,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
This pair of birds look like those made by Alfredo Barbini (1912–2007), a master glassmaker and designer from Murano, Italy, renowned for his innovative and artistic contributions to the world of Venetian glass. He was known for his exceptional craftsmanship and ability to blend traditional Murano techniques with modern artistic expression.
Though retailers might ask high three- or four-figure prices for ones they are selling, when his birds - and ones attributed to him - are sold at auction, they usually bring fair market prices between $300-500.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A pair of gilt flecked and blue hand-blown glass pheasants,
Attributed to Alfredo Barbini, Murano, Italy, late 20th Century
Each in a downward-facing position with their long tails swirling overhead, on lobed circular feet. Unmarked
