Hi Jack,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Renzo Andreon, born in 1948, is an Italian artist renowned for his Murano glass sculptures. His work often pays homage to influential figures, such as Pablo Picasso, as seen in his pieces titled "Hommage to Picasso." In the mid-1990s, Andreon collaborated with Marco Polo International to create distinctive art glass sculptures characterized by bold colors and abstract forms. Additionally, he worked alongside designer Paolo Crepax on unique art objects for the Italian fashion house Ottavio Missoni.
There have been other examples of this "head" by Andreon that have sold at auction; they usually sell between $700 and $1,000.
