All the info you have given me is the same info that gave you.Would like to know the maker blower name age and
Your amount 300 to 500 is very low appraisal.
I have emailed an archive in Italy to find out more about this but have not yet heard back with information about the maker, blower etc.
$300-500 is what these kinds of Murano pieces are bringing at auction in the current auction market.
Looking at some online Paolo Venini
$24.000.00 on sale for $18.000.00
Trophy murano glass frosted.
Would like to see the one you talk about at a current auction.I Have never
Seen one the same as this one thanks

This was the closest comparable I found within the past three years at auction.

I went to muranoglassmore.inc - they are not citing prices but a very similar leopard-toned work is listed on eBay for about $50.
Where are you seeing prices from $18-24,000? Are those retail / antique dealer prices? Auction values - which is what Mearto provides - are always lower. I suspect those prices are specifically for Paolo Venini works, which do warrant high prices...but yours is only signed "Maestri Vetrai" which translates to "Glass Masters."
I'm still waiting on a response from the archive in Italy - it may take some time. In the meantime, if you can find a comparable work at auction and the price it brought I would certainly be willing to reconsider my valuation.
Thanks alot.
Good morning, Dean,
The archive is not able to further identify the maker of this piece. I am happy to reconsider my valuation if you can find other similar examples that have sold AT AUCTION within the past couple of years. Otherwise, I think this appraisal has been resolved?
Maestri Vetrai made in Italy on bottom of vase.
